Warehouse assistant

As a warehouse assistant, you will be jointly responsible for picking orders and preparing them for dispatch. Your duties will include:

• Receiving goods and storing them in the warehouse;
• Checking quantity and quality of orders. If necessary, reporting irregularities to your supervisor and/or in the inventory system.;
• Using a forklift truck to move goods within a warehouse or move them to a truck for shipment;
• Keeping track of storage and orders by computer;
• Complete shipping documents;
• Ensuring a clean warehouse;
• You will work in 2 shifts (every other week from 6:00 - 16:00 hrs. and from 16:00 - 22:00 hrs.)

We are looking for someone who not only enjoys being on a forklift, but is especially enthusiastic and eager to learn. Furthermore, we ask:

• It is great if you already have work experience as a Warehouse Assistant and with an ERP system (e.g. scanning goods), but we do not expect you to have experience with eggs. We are going to make sure you are properly instructed and trained.;
• Working together in a small collegial team suits you;
• You are flexible and feel responsible for your tasks;
• Knowledge of the Dutch language. Any knowledge of German and/or English may be useful;
• You are in possession of a forklift certificate or wish to take a course for this purpose;
