Liquid & powder
Great history
Adriaan Goede was founded in 1895 by Mr Adriaan Goede. With the basket on his arm, he went past farms to buy eggs. He resold these to bakeries in Amsterdam. The basket became a horse and cart and then a truck. Adriaan Goede BV has been producing liquid egg products since 1948 and the first powder was produced in 1964. This way a renowned import and export company was created with a large market share in European countries and the Asian market.
High-quality egg products
At Adriaan Goede BV, we break and process more than 2 million eggs into high-quality egg products every day. Both liquid and dried products from whole egg, egg yolk and egg white. We also develop egg products to customer specifications. We have already carried out many food technology projects for our clients. In collaboration with Grocal, we process egg shells into a food source for chickens. This is how we ensure a closed/circular chain.
In Landsmeer, we process hundreds of thousands of eggs per hour fully automatically. Advanced technology is used to break the eggs. Yolks and egg whites are separated and checked for contamination. Using a standardised process of special mixing techniques and pasteurisation, we make high-quality liquid egg products, according to legal standards. For an efficient process, we have various pasteurisation machines. The products are hygienically packed according to customer requirements. With spray dryers, we produce various egg powders. Each dryer is adapted to the specific product type. Sophisticated sieving techniques and strong magnets guarantee food safety. The powders are automatically packed in boxes, octabins or paper bag in a plastic inner bag that is sealed. After drying, the protein powders undergo pasteurisation heat treatment in sealed containers. Air temperature, humidity and speed are carefully controlled. This is how we improve product properties. Deliveries are made via certified transport companies and according to the FIFO inventory system. This is to respond quickly to customers' demands and needs. The in-house laboratory is under strict control of NVWA and follows ISO standards for product testing.
