At Hardeman Egg Group, we believe in sustainable, circular production of eggs and egg products, always with respect for animal welfare. That's what 'Better by Nature' stands for. With our own poultry farms, we keep control over production and invest in improvements, such as generating much of our energy with our own solar panels. At the same time, we make sure our products remain affordable for everyone. Our 500-plus employees are at the heart of everything we do. At Hardeman Egg Group, we invest in sustainability by working with an extensive network of suppliers and applying modern technologies. At our practice farm in Puiflijk (Gld), we test new innovations to not only make our own poultry farms more sustainable, but also those of our partners. Our trucks meet the latest emission standards and are efficiently deployed to minimise empty mileage. Together, we work towards a more sustainable chain, where every link contributes to a better future.
We carefully manage and control the entire production chain, from packing stations and transport to our poultry farms in Northwest Europe and processing at our egg processing plants. Thanks to this approach, our customers can count on high delivery reliability. We work with a permanent pool of poultry farmers who have supplied us for many years via contract, and support young farmers in starting their own business. This pool ensures risk diversification and allows us to stock egg products for our customers. Thus, we not only offer supply security, but also help our customers reduce their procurement risk.
At Hardeman Egg Group, we believe in the importance of healthy and sustainable farming, which is why we invest in the future of young farmers. Every egg and egg product we sell comes from our 50 poultry farmers in the Netherlands and Germany, many of whom we have supported in sustainable and innovative business practices for many years. With our Powerful Eggs concept, we offer farmers a fair compensation that covers their costs and gives additional room for investment in sustainable and animal-friendly agriculture. We help young entrepreneurs start their own farms by supporting them with technology, knowledge and fair contracts. Thus, we not only ensure the production of high-quality eggs, but also contribute to agricultural continuity and a sustainable food supply for the future.
Every egg and egg product we sell comes from our 50 poultry farmers in the Netherlands and Germany who together supply more than 50 million eggs every week. Our eggs are naturally better.
Kwetters is a specialist in the sourcing, grading and custom delivery of eggs, with packing stations in the Netherlands and Germany.
Our egg breaking facility Adriaan Goede processes eggs into high-quality egg products for the food industry. At Egga Food, we cook, peel, dye and pack hundreds of millions of eggs every year. The egg shells are reused as a source of calcium for cattle feed.
We reduce empty loads by smart planning. This is how we reduce costs as well as the carbon footprint per kilo of finished product.
Every week, our packing stations deliver more than 40 million eggs to supermarkets in the Netherlands and Germany. Consumers are also served our egg products in sauces, dressings and salads every day.
